If the transferring outbound calls don't work with *2 or you specified, apply following changes ;
You need to set in General Settings -> Dialing Options
Asterisk Dial command options: tr
Asterisk Outbound Dial command options: T
It's going to work, tested.

ReplyDeleteis this work for internal extension also ,because mine is not working even changing same setting
ReplyDeleteMy Scenario-I am in India. I dial the phone no of my customer in Canada and talk to him, if he agrees to buy our service i have to transfer the call to my expert's phone no. He is also in Canada. Hot transfer you can say. Both are external numbers. I don't know anything about transfer feature. Please help me and explain in details. Elastix 2.3.0, Asterisk 1.8.7, freePBX 2.8.1. Also tell me how to do it with just eyebeam (1.5.7). Its urgent.
ReplyDeleteyou should check features codes on freepbx. just call Canada no, then dial code (attended transfer code) and talk then just hang up.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to do this as unattended transfer? I am trying to do this but Elastix uses number of trunk I use to call to desired destination, it does not uses original Caller Id. And this doesn't like my SIP provider and declines the call..:(
DeleteI got it with eyebeam but not with elastix. freepbx.org given many codes but not for transfer. one more issue i have to record the all convesations too. transfer button in agent console is always grey..
ReplyDeletehi everybody i successes in transferring.attended transfer. i need to know how to record the whole conversations. both first out call and even the attended one. means i need to record all the calls.
ReplyDeleteHi. I want to know that is there any way to stop dialing voice mails, during outbound campaign in elastix. I do not wish to talk, the nos, who reaches voice mail.
ReplyDeleteDear I am using Elastix 2.4.0 but there is no General Setting in the PBX. can any one guide me how to find the General Setting?
ReplyDeleteYou need to Enable direct access (Non-embedded) to FreePBX on your Security > Advanced Settings.
DeleteAfter that you'll be able to open PBX > Unembedded FreePBX, where you can make this changes.
When you finish doing the changes, don't forget to revert the changes mentioned above in the Security section.
Hope this help.
Thanks Paco
